Groovolution is a range of adult dance classes for everybody, for fun & fitness, health and wellness.

These dance classes cater for a range of ages, dance experience and skills plus varying degrees of mobility.

The different classes being offered are:

• Groovetap - adult beginners’ tap class

• Just Groove It - general dance class mainly focused on jazz but with elements of other genres such as contemporary, Latin, ballet, barre & Pilates

• Groove & Move - general dance class for active and agile older generations

• Groove2Move – dance for people with mobility restrictions

• Groovetap for Seniors – seniors tap class for all levels, including beginners.

Groovolution classes are run by Sharon in various locations in Brisbane.

Groovetap - Newmarket

Time:         Saturday 10.45 am for 11 am start. Class finishes at 12 pm.

Venue:      Grange Community Hall, 187 Wilston Rd, Newmarket

Dates:       Term 3, 2026: Saturday 25th July – 19th September (no classes 15th August & 29th August)

Price: Adults:  $18 casual or $105 for 7 week block

Concessions: $15 casual or $87.50 for 7 week block

Groovetap for SENIORS - Bulimba

Time:         Monday 10.45am for an 11am start. Class finishes at 12pm.

Venue:      Bulimba Uniting Church Hall, 216 Oxford St, Bulimba

Dates:       Term 3, 2026: Monday 13th July – 14th September (no class 10th August)

Price: Concessions: $15 casual or $$112.50 for 9 week block

Just Groove It

Time:         Tuesday 5 pm for a 5.15 pm start. Class finishes 6.15 pm.

Venue:      Newmarket Hall, 212 Ashgrove Ave, Ashgrove

Dates:        Term 3, 2026: 14th July – 15th September (no class 11th August)

Price: Adults:  $18 casual or $135 for 9 week block

Concessions: $15 casual or $112.50 for 9 week block

Groove & Move

Time:         Wednesday 9 am for a 9.15 am start. Class finishes 10.15 am.

Venue:      Bulimba Uniting Church Hall, 216 Oxford St, Bulimba

Dates:       Term 3, 2026: 15th July – 16th September (no class 12th August)

Price: Adults:  $18 casual or $135 for 9 week block

Concessions: $15 casual or $112.50 for 9 week block

Groove2Move

Time:         Tuesday 1 pm for a 1.15 pm start. Class finishes 2 pm.

Venue:      Bulimba Community Centre, 1 Barramul St, Bulimba

Dates:       Term 3, 2026: 14th July – 15th September (no class 11th August)
